Welcome to Penygawse and
the lovely town of Llandovery.
We have been working very
hard over the last year to
give you the traditional welcome
that is expected from such
a beautiful historical town.
Lynne and Allan Stather bought
the premises in March 2004.
The building is a grade II
listed building built in 1725
and was host to a drapery
store and most recently a
butchery.
The
building was in a run down
state when bought and much
effort and expense has been
put into returning the 9-bedroom
property to its original splendour.
The
Victorian tea room was opened
on the 27th of March 2005
with great response from tourists
and locals. The Guest House
has 6 rooms all of which are
en-suite, with breakfast provided
in the tea rooms. The building
in non-smoking throughout!
We
welcome all visitors to our
establishment to experience
our quality food and drinks
and if you are planning to
stay over why not lay your
head down Victorian style.
